Is it a Ghost Story? A Mystery? Or the Fake Autobiography of the Filmmaker? Well, actually, it's all three. Bright, funny and subversive, FULL MOON FABLES seamlessly ties together three inspired short stories into one feature length, glorious 35mm, film.

It all begins with STATE OF THE ARTIST, a sort of "Christmas Carol" in the art world, about an intolerant modern day artist who encounters the ghost of Vincent van Gogh in a museum after hours. This leads us into THE STUDIO, a wickedly witty Hollywood satire with a classic film noir look. It's the tale of Kay, a woman who takes a job at an eerie movie studio, but is never told what that job is. Kay's "Wizard of Oz"-like quest to find the answer culminates in the zany but touching SATUDAY NIGHT AT MADAM WING'S - writer/director Edward B. Sherman's "Don Quixote"-like quest to finish his film before it finishes him ... maybe literally.

FULL MOON FABLES is an ambitious and exhilarating film that is ultimately about illusion versus reality, and how our illusions often become our reality. so, as the final credits roll, we are left wondering if what we have just watched was real or ... reel.

Sleepwalker Productions was formed as a vehicle for the films of Edward B. Sherman. Ed's films have been receiving awards and recognition from the independent film community since the inception of his company, almost 12 years ago.

In his twin roles of writer and director, he has produced works that combine the comedic with the insightful. With his attention to detail, from the initial script, through the storyboarding process, the casting and the actual shooting, it speaks of his passion for the art of film making.

In this site you will find links to Ed's bio, the film "Full Moon Fables", as well as the three short stories that together make up "FMF". There are individual pages for many cast members and principal actors. We hope to bring you a full picture of the depth and scope of Ed Sherman's talent. I am proud to be part of this project.
